Notes

  • Double time = hourly rate × 2. Federal law does not require it; California is the only state that mandates daily double time.
  • In California, hours over 12 in a workday are 2×, and on the 7th consecutive workday, hours beyond 8 are 2×. Pick California and use hours-per-day to apply it.
